Throughout the course of the school year, you will be responsible for reading articles relating to various topics in science. Each trimester there will be articles related to our unit of study as well as other articles of your choice that focus on news, research, medicine, inventions, careers, important events, etc. Below you will find the schedule of current events topics as well as due dates. The graphic organizer/summary sheet can be downloaded below in order to help highlight important components of the articles. All current events articles and graphic organizers should be kept in your ISN under the current events section.
We will also keep track of questions that each class is curious about on our "I wonder..." board for each major unit. Students will be asked to research one question per quarter and reporting their findings in order to broaden our horizon and quench our thirst for knowledge!
